This is why I love Bob Farrell.   Bob Farrell and the 120 voice choir's pulling off the most brilliant ruse in SW history. While pretending to be OB's 3-piece-suited student teacher when a substitute teacher was called in due to Dahle's absence, Bob directed us in a spur-of-the-moment rendition of "Ragdoll" - the tenor section altered the words just a touch to - "I'd turn her sad rags into Glad Bags if I could." Many of us had no idea about Bob's caper until it happened. We also sang "Oh, When the Saints" and Ann Freed jumped up and sang a soul filled, growling, kick-ass solo - arms flailing and voice reaching the rafters. We received a glowing report from the substitute - she said we were "The best choir she'd had the opportunity to observe and that that handsome student teacher was profoundly talented, having superior classroom control. The next day, Dahle began the class by asking, "Okay, so who is the student teacher?"   May you rest in glorious peace, Bob, and thank you for the memory.
